Terms of Service
Last updated 14 October 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and MusTech Group (UEN 202609163C), a company registered in Singapore, when you use TaraBase. We've kept them as plain as we can. By creating an account or using TaraBase, you agree to them. Buyers who order from a TaraBase shop: the part for you is For buyers.
1.What TaraBase does
TaraBase is software for sellers. TaraBase for home businesses runs a Telegram shop where your buyers order for the days you choose and pay you by PayNow. TaraBase Live is a counter on your own phone or tablet for taking PayNow and cash at a stall.
TaraBase is a tool you use to run your business. You are the seller in every sale: we are not a party to it.
2.Payments go to you, not us
- Buyers pay you directly by PayNow, to the mobile number or UEN you give us. TaraBase never receives, holds or moves that money, and takes no share of it.
- Because we never hold the money, we can't reverse, refund or recover a payment, and we are not responsible for refunding anyone. Refunds are between you and your buyer, and are yours to make.
- TaraBase reads the payment receipts your buyers send and confirms an order when everything matches. This is a help, not a guarantee: when anything doesn't match, the order is left for you to check in your own bank. At a TaraBase Live counter, you check each payment yourself.
- You are responsible for making sure your PayNow details are correct.
3.Your responsibilities as a seller
- What you sell, its description, price, quality and safety, and handing it over as promised.
- Any licence, registration or rule that applies to your business, including Singapore's rules for home-based food businesses, and your own taxes.
- Your dealings with your buyers: questions, changes, cancellations and refunds.
- Every order a buyer has paid you for: handing it over on its day, or cancelling it and refunding the buyer yourself. This stays yours if your Premium ends or you close your shop.
- Using your buyers' details only to fulfil their orders, and as the law allows.
- Keeping your login and your Telegram bot token private. Anything done with your account is treated as done by you.
4.Your Telegram bot
Your bot is created by you through Telegram, and you control it. Telegram's own terms apply to it. If Telegram changes, limits or stops its service, parts of TaraBase may stop working, and we can't prevent that.
5.Plans and fees
- TaraBase Free lets you set up your shop. It doesn't take orders.
- Premium adds your own bot taking orders. It is charged monthly to your card through our payment provider, HitPay, until you cancel. There is no yearly contract.
- When Premium ends, your shop goes back to TaraBase Free. Your menu, days, PayNow details and order history are kept, and you can go Premium again whenever you like.
- You can cancel Premium at any time in Settings. It stays on until the end of the month you have paid for, and is not refunded for the days left. From the moment you cancel, buyers can't book a day after Premium ends. Orders already placed for those days still stand, and you hand them over or refund them yourself.
- If a Premium payment fails, HitPay emails you to update your card and tries again for 7 days. Your bot keeps taking orders meanwhile. If no payment goes through, Premium stops.
- TaraBase Live is paid per event, through an Event Pass for the days you trade.
- You'll always see a price before you pay it. If we change a price, we'll tell you before it applies to you, and you can stop before then.
6.Using TaraBase fairly
You agree not to:
- sell anything illegal, or use TaraBase to deceive or defraud anyone;
- send fake receipts, or try to trick the receipt check;
- try to get into another seller's account or data, or to disrupt TaraBase;
- copy, resell or take apart TaraBase itself.
If an account breaks these terms, we may pause or close it. Where we can, we'll tell you why first and give you the chance to download your records.
7.Your data
Your shop's records belong to you, and you can download them. How we handle your details and your buyers' is in our Privacy Policy, which is part of these terms. For your buyers' details, you decide what they are used for, and we handle them on your behalf.
8.Availability
We work to keep TaraBase running and your data safe, but we can't promise it will never be interrupted. It relies on services we don't control, including Telegram, hosting providers and the internet. We may change or improve features; if we remove something you rely on, we'll tell you first.
9.Closing your account
You can close your shop at any time in Settings, once paid orders still to collect and refunds you owe are settled. Your bot stops answering and your storefront goes. Until thirty days after closing, you can reopen it by signing in. After that, your shop's records are deleted for good, so download anything you need first.
If you have Premium when you close, closing cancels it. You are not charged again, and the rest of the month you have paid for is not refunded: your shop keeps running until Premium ends, then closes by itself once every paid order is handed over or refunded. Until then you can change your mind in Settings.
10.Our responsibility to you
TaraBase is provided as it is. As far as the law allows, MusTech Groupis not responsible for lost sales, lost profits, or indirect losses, or for anything between you and your buyers, including any order, payment, cancellation or refund. Where we are responsible, our total liability is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits a responsibility the law doesn't allow us to limit.
11.For buyers
If you order from a shop that uses TaraBase, this part is for you. By ordering through a TaraBase shop, you agree to it.
- You are buying from the seller, not from TaraBase. The seller is responsible for what they sell, for handing your order over, and for any cancellation or refund.
- You pay the seller directly, by PayNow or at their counter. TaraBase never receives, holds or moves your money, so we can't refund, reverse or recover a payment, and we are not responsible for refunds.
- If something goes wrong with an order, contact the seller through their shop's bot. If a shop stops taking orders or closes, the seller stays responsible for the orders you have paid for.
- TaraBase's check of your payment receipt helps the seller. It is not a promise from us that an order will be handed over.
- Sections 8, 10 and 13 apply to you too. How your details are handled is in our Privacy Policy.
12.Changes to these terms
If we change these terms, we'll update the date at the top. If a change matters to how you use TaraBase, we'll tell you in TaraBase before it applies. Continuing to use TaraBase after that means you accept it.
13.Law and notices
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Singapore, and the courts of Singapore have exclusive jurisdiction. Formal legal notices to MusTech Group go to admin@mustechgroup.com.
